An Irish flintlock brass barrelled blunderbuss with under-sprung bayonet, by Whitney, Cork, 15.5inch four stage barrel with ring-turned flared muzzle and engraved "Cork" on the top flat, stepped lock signed "Whitney", half stocked with engraved brass mounts, the bayonet released by a subsidiary trigger forward of the trigger guard.
