dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Paris, Smoothbore, round, 10 mm cal barrel with octagonal base, signed 'JARRE A PARIS' at the back, engraved with spirals at the base, outlines at the nozzle, provided with front sight; eight-shot accordion-shape magazine; smooth frame, iron trigger guard with extended trigger. The central band of the handle with remains of engravings. Smooth wooden grips. Mechanism working in double action only. For similar pistols see 'Les Revolvers a Broche' by J.P. Slightly browned in the margins. Overall in good condition.

New York, Multiples Inc., 1970. Stiff blank wrappers 15.5 x 23.5 cm, with a nine-panel accordion fold-out, unfolds to a 188 cm long b/w photographic strip featuring flowers in a forest. Edition of 1200 copies, of which approx. 200 were in the boxed edition Artists & Photographs. This copy shows slight creasing on outer edge of the cover sheets, the leporello is in very good condition.
