The set comprising: 12 dessert forks; 12 dessert spoons and 12 dessert knives with silver blades (handles filled); all engraved with crest to terminals; total weighable silver approx. 48.9ozt Provenance: Property from a UK private collection. Condition Report: Weight excludes knives (handles filled). The flatware is in very good condition. Gilding in good condition. No damage noted to spoons or forks. Decoration in good condition. Three of the knife blades are marked with an earlier date (1856) but all handles are marked 1858. All pieces marked London, 1858, Chawner & Co.. Knives generally in good condition. Some nicking and bruising to some blades and some a little bent. A little bruising to a few of the handle terminals. Box in good condition. Overall a lovely set.
