A suite of American silver Japanese pattern flatware, by Gorham & Co., c.1875, comprising a set of 12 table forks, the terminals decorated with geishas, and a set of 11 dessert spoons with peacock motifs, table fork 19.75cm long, dessert spoon 7.25cm long, 39oz. Both Gorham and Tiffany became involved in Japanese design towards the end of the 1860s. Gorhams japanese pattern flatware was introduced about 1870 and had five different handle designs.

A GROUP OF MODERN SILVER FLATWARE comprising three teaspoons, crudely incised initial J to stems, marked Birmingham 1990, a pair of salad servers with initials IM, marked Birmingham 1987, and a serving spoon with initial W, marked Chester date letter J, all with maker`s mark TM within a lozenge. 222grams(total) (6).
