Original vintage Olympic Ball advertising poster for a costume sports ball organised by the Union of Russian Artists of Paris / Union des Artists Russes de Paris on 11 July 1924 at the Taverne de L'Olympia in Paris. Rare double sided poster featuring illustrations by Barthe and Natalia Goncharova (1881-1962) of a classical style statue and music notes on one side and a costume on the other side, a programme of events including baseball, tennis, boxing and aviation, and dance, music and ballet choreographed by Larionov and the Ballets Suedois, with numerous famous artists from the 1920s avant-garde scene in Paris listed. Fair condition, double-sided, printed on thin paper, folded as issued, tears and creases in right margins.
