(7.6cm.) high, together with a leather clad beach ball string box and a treen barrel version. (3) *Condition: the beehive in excellent condition, beach ball very good with sight wear to leather to base, the treen barrel with small split to top and brass side tap loose and needs attention.

An extremely rare sewing etui or necessaire in the form of a six shot revolver, c.1900, modelled on a mid to late 19th century six shot revolver, in nickel plated brass with a black painted butt, the chamber opening when the lever is cocked to reveal a blue velvet lined interior with mirror and pin slots to the edge of the chamber, containing a complete suite of gilt metal contents comprising a pair of scissors, a thread pick, a thimble and a bobbin/needle case, the exterior would of had a small wooden pencil disguised as a ramrod, the butt with an end cap opening to reveal a tiny glass scent bottle with the original stopper, the top of the butt with loose suspension ring, length 6¾in. (17.25cm.). * A similar piece sold for £1,050,00 in these rooms on 29th November 2012.

A selection of small silver, to include; A silver navette shaped dish Nathan and Hayes Chester 1897, with embossed scrolling foliate detail, 12.5cm wide, a silver vesta case, a dish inset with a Chinese coin, assorted silver pill boxes, a page marker, a thimble etc (8) CONDITION REPORT: The dish shows wear throughout commensurate with age and use the vacant cartouche with several smalls dents with a fine split on one side of the surrounding border. The dish itself with a shallow pressed up dent to one side of the base, the accompanying silver items appear in good condition with expected general wear with the exception of two small dents to the vesta case and misshaping to the outer rim of the thimble. All with rubbed but legible hallmarks.
