Also bound in the volume are first editions of the third and fourth Canto's of Childe Harold, as well as The Siege of Corinth and The Prisoner of Chillon.

Keith Moon/Pete Townshend A Premier wooden drumstick, signed in black felt pen by Keith Moon, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey and Elton John [Moon, Elton John and Daltrey's signatures indistinct] -- used by Keith Moon during the Pinball Wizard sequence in the film Tommy, given to the vendor by Moon following filming. Filming of the Pinball Wizard sequence for Tommy featuring Elton John as well as 1500 extras took place on Wednesday 8th - Friday 10th May, 1974 at the King's Theatre, Albert Road, Portsmouth. The vendor, Xavier Russell, son of the film's director, Ken Russell, was an extra during this sequence shot in Portsmouth. He was given this drumstick by Keith Moon at the end of filming and personally obtained all the signatures on the drumstick that day.

The Beatles A black and white publicity postcard, circa 1964, signed on the verso in blue ballpoint pen by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr -- 4 1/2x3 1/2in. (11.4x9cm.) [trimmed]. According to the vendor, these signatures were acquired when the Beatles appeared at the Hippodrome Theatre in Brighton on Sunday, 12th July, 1964.
The Beatles A piece of paper signed in blue ballpoint pen by John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, additionally inscribed in Ringo Starr's hand Beatles and possibly in John Lennon's hand with the number 0943417, 1963 -- 8x6in. (20.3x15.2cm.). According to the vendor, these signatures were obtained by his father who worked at Northampton Police station where the Beatles were guarded prior to their concert at the ABC theatre on Wednesday, 6th November, 1963.
The Beatles A rare souvenir concert programme Royal Command Performance in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen Mother, Prince Of Wales Theatre, London, Monday, 4th November, 1963, signed inside in blue ballpoint pen next to the group's photograph by John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, additionally signed on separate pages by Hattie Jacques, Teddy Green and the Clark Brothers. These signatures were obtained by the vendor's uncle, Richard Dory, who was Manager of the Prince Of Wales Theatre at the time of the Royal Command Performance.

HARDY, THOMAS (1840-1928). Three A.Ls.S., 1894 and 1914, and an undated part T.L.S., to Lucy Clifford , from Max Gate and Pelham Crescent, 6pp., 8vo., two of them concerning arrangements for a visit; the longest (4pp., 1914) referring to a theatrical production of The Dynasts, and also offering advice about a play outline sent to him by Lucy. “I have not the vaguest idea of what effect it would have if written at length & staged …a play of anybody’s from Shakespeare downwards is more vivid when read than when acted… As to the central conception – that the Krupps, or a woman – Krupp, might bring peace to the world by controlling its ordnance – it is naturally attractive in itself, especially to me, but as the theme of a practical drama which has to draw people to a theatre & make them pay: well, I am in the dark altogether”. With two A.Ls.S., from Florence Hardy, about her husband’s health (1921) and replying to Lucy’s letter after his death (1928) (6)
