GIGGS RYAN: (1973- ) Welsh Footballer, the most decorated player in Welsh and English Football history. An excellent, large signed colour 16 x 20 photograph, the image depicting Giggs in a jubilant three quarter length pose holding the European Cup in his hands following Manchester United's historic victory in the UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich in the Camp Nou at Barcelona on 26th May 1999. Signed by Giggs with a large, bold signature in black ink across a light area of the image. EX Manchester United's 2-1 victory in the European Cup final was the culmination of their historic Treble winning season, having already won the Premier League and FA Cup. MANCHESTER UNITED: An excellent, large signed colour 20 x 16 photograph by thirteen members of the Manchester United football squad and their manager who won the UEFA Champions League final of 1999, comprising Peter Schmeichel, Gary Neville, Ronny Johnsen, Jaap Stam, Denis Irwin, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Jesper Blomqvist, Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Teddy Sheringham, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Alex Ferguson. The image depicts the eleven members of the starting line-up standing and crouching in two rows before the kick-off at the Camp Nou, Barcelona, on 26th May 1999. Each of the players have signed with their names alone (only Beckham adding his squad number 7 beneath his signature) in bold black inks to clear areas across their images, the two important goal scoring substitutes and manager signing their names in bold black inks to clear areas at the head of the image. A very fine example of a signed photograph of the historic Manchester United team whose victory in the 1999 UEFA Champions League final resulted in their becoming Treble winners for the season. EX
