An original swatch of Elven cloth featured in the award winning The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013). Larger sections of this cloth can be seen in Smaug's treasure hord to which this swatch was taken. It has been made from a burgundy velvet cloth with a gold screen printed Elven design on it.  Simular coloured velvet fabrics were used to clothe the Elves in the Battle of the 5 Armies. The swatch measures at approx 7" x 5.5" and has been expertly framed in a white, deep set frame measuring at approx 17.5 x 17.5". It remains in a good production used condition with some slight rubbing to the gold in places.
