Collection of Three (3) Tableware. Includes: Steuben crystal apple paperweight 4-1/4" H, Baccarat frosted crystal resting duck paperweight 3" H, and Herend porcelain covered box 3-7/8" H. Modern glass. A Steuben glass olive dish with scroll handle, 13cm. diameter, an Orrefors wine red deep oval bowl with slight swirl, 14.5x18cm., a pair of Wedgwood double reel short candlesticks, ht. 10cm., and an unmarked glass vase, ht. 18cm. Condition. Very slight scratch to inside of Steuben piece, light scratches to inside of Orrefors, small chips and general scratches to underside of unmarked vase. Otherwise no chips, cracks or defects noted.
A late 19th century Sevres style porcelain plaqueHand painted by Leber, after CHARLES DE STEUBEN, with Bataille de Tours (Octobre 732) within gilt and turquoise borders, signed Leber d'Apres Steuben, blue painted pseudo Sevres mark to verso. 46 cm diameter. CONDITION REPORTS: Riveted with associated losses, chip to rim, some rubbing to gilding, some possible minor over painting where previously broken.
DESCRIPTION: Steuben crystal bookends in the motif of gazelles running through rolling floiage base. A rare Steuben Aurene Jack in the Pulpit vase, model no.130, the compressed body with tall cylindrical neck and flaring, pulled rim, covered in a golden iridescence etched Aurene 130 to base 20cm. high Catalogue Notes It is believed pieces of Steuben marked just Aurene and the model number are some of the earliest examples of production.
