Carder of Steuben, New York, the u-shaped green opalescent body with flared gilded rim, painted between each of the handles with a full length art nouveau design of blue irises and yellow buds with green painted stems and leaves, all with gilded outlines and highlights, on a moulded foot, 7½in. (18.75cm.) high, the rim 6¾in. (17.25cm.) diameter.
