The indications comprise, top to bottom, a hygrometer, a mercury Fahrenheit thermometer, a convex wall mirror, the large 12" diam barometer dial and a spirit level. The case is of mahogany with ebonised edge banding and the scales are all of silvered brass. The case is surmounted by a scroll pediment with central ivory finials, the convex glass over the barometer dial is broken, the barometer stands 40" tall.
