Long Little Tower St, ivory thermometer marked Buss 33 Hatton Garden, 10 brass weights and a Loftus sliding rule (second slide rule missing). Lot further includes Farmar's Wine & Spirit Merchants' Size 1 Rule, The Spirit Traders' Universal Calculating Rule and a J. Long Maker 20 Little Tower St London rule.

Shotgun: A good flintlock sporting shotgun by Sikes circa 1800. Walnut half-stock with silver buttplate and escutcheon with silver dragon motif sideplate. Barrel 33" with English proofmarks. Approx 10 bore. (Lock sits a little proud due to mirror loss to woodwork). With its original brass tipped wooden ramrod. An attractive early 19th century sporting gun in generally good condition for age.

A flintlock pocket pistol by Sikes dating: late 18th Century provenance: England Smooth, round, turn-off, 11 mm cal. barrel with moulded muzzle and rings. Box-lock type, iron frame, engraved with rocaille at the sides, one of them signed "SIKES", and the other one "SHEFFIELD"; stamps of the London test bench at the lower part. Sliding trigger guard, engraved with floral motifs. Back hammer and batterie. Curved, wooden grip with fine, silver butt-plate featuring stamps, depicting a face with beard, surmounted by a shell. dimensions: length 18,5 cm.
