A large, antique 48in dapple grey painted wooden rocking horse by F. H. Ayres - with glass eyes and open mouth, real horse hair mane and tail, horned leather saddle, reins and bridle with plated metal bit, floral metal mounts and red rosette to front, the pine stand with turned baluster supports and trestle base, 132.5cm high to top of ear, 102cm to centre of saddle, the stand 160cm long, paint appears to be largely original and is in good condition overall, some old sympathetic restoration, replaced reins/bridle, one stud missing from corner of saddle, in good condition overall.
