Property of a deceased's estate 2002 CCM 604E SupermotoRegistration no. VU02 OEJFrame no. SMZHA60EM1B600774Engine no. 920167Clews Competition Motorcycles came into being in 1972 when proprietor Alan Clews purchased the stock of BSA's defunct competitions department. Clews already had plenty of experience in developing his own BSA-based scramblers, and the acquisition enabled him to offer complete machines. Clews finally abandoned the BSA-based design in the early 1980s, merging his company with Armstrong and turning to Rotax engines. In more recent times CCM has reinvented itself as supplier of bespoke limited-edition motorcycles aimed at the 'hipster/custom' market. The muscular Supermoto offered here, though, belongs to the interim period and clearly shows signs of CCM's off-road heritage. Other than the registered keeper is the second owner, nothing is known of the machine's history. The current odometer reading is 1,839 miles and the engine turns over. Accompanying spares include a Rotax tool roll; two mirrors; spare cylinder and piston (suitability unknown); sidestand; motorcycle lifting device (boxed); and spare front and rear wheels shod with apparently unused Pirelli tyres. Offered with a V5C. No keys (buyer to source).Offered without keyFootnotes:All lots are sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.Lot to be sold without reserve. For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com

ORIGINAL FORD RS200 AND MOTORSPORT PLANNING AND PRESS LAUNCH DOCUMENTS A dossier of internal Ford proposal and press documents, outlining the background and rationale for a return to the rallying scene in Group B for Ford Europe, intended to take on new competition at the time from Audi, Lancia, Peugeot, Renault and others. The key objective was, “To produce an outright international rally winner. Nothing must be allowed to compromise this.”, alongside others such as, “Ungimmicky, ageless styling by Ghia with a Ford family flavour. No unnecessary frills like pop-up lights.” A document in late 1984 goes on to detail product specifications, timelines, an executive summary for the project, financial data and so on. Additionally attached are pages of handwritten notes outlining progress and next steps, an earlier proposal document dated July 1983 for a “Group B (200 off) Rally/Race car”, and a separate document (dated 12th March 1984) by Director - European Motor Sports, Stuart Turner, on behalf of EAO Motorsport to detail production of the prototypes, the power unit/drivetrain, options for assembly, nomenclature of the new model, and other practical implications. Also enclosed is an original UK press release for the launch of the RS200 model by Ford of Europe in November of 1984. The press pack is entitled, "The Ford RS 200 Road-Going Sports Car, Unique Prototype for "Works" Return to Motor Sport". Finally we have press releases to announce production of the model, an announcement from Pirelli, an announcement for Ford's Motorsport Plans for 1986, the plans for Ford's WRC programme for 1986/7, and the European Touring Car Championship Team for 1986, and a press release for the launch of the Ford Sierra RS500 in July of 1987. A fascinating insight into the machinations of Ford's pivotal move into Group B and Touring car racing in the 1980s.

1999 Ferrari F355 GTS F1 Transmission: automaticMileage:141212The Ferrari F355 was built from May 1994 to 1999 and was an evolution of the Ferrari 348. It is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive, V8-powered two-seat coupé. At launch, two models were available; the coupé Berlinetta and the targa topped GTS. The Spider (convertible) version was introduced in 1995. One major difference between the longitudinal V8 in the 348 and that in the 355, apart from the displacement increase from 3.4 to 3.5 litres, is that the F355 features a five valve per cylinder head that is considerably more powerful, producing 375bhp. Ferrari fitted all road-going F355 models with Pirelli tyres; size 225/40ZR 18 front and 265/40 ZR 18 to the rear. The nomenclature does not follow the formula from the previous decades, i.e. engine capacity plus cylinder number for example, the Ferrari 308 name comes from three litres plus eight cylinders, with the same for the 328, 348, 512 etc. This time, Ferrari used engine capacity plus number of valves per cylinder; proud to boast about this technological advancement, with the name 355 coming from 3.5 litres engine capacity and five valves per cylinder. The F355 has become the most popular model so far with over 11,273 cars produced. This Ferrari was registered on the 21st October 1999 and was imported into the UK in September 2020. Presenting in left hand drive and very good condition all-round, this has clearly been a very well looked after vehicle. This history confirms as such and the cambelts were last changed two years ago. The Rosso Corsa paintwork has obviously been refreshed in places, this appears to have been carried out to a good standard. The black leather interior shows minimal wear. It is rare to see Ferrari's having covered such mileage (87,600) which is a shame as they are more than capable of covering the mileage without any real difficulties. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a history folder and a current MoT test certificate valid until 15th December 2023, this Ferrari F355 GTS represents exceptional value for money.

1969 Porsche 911S (2.0 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:75514The Porsche 911 is the flagship car of the German manufacturer. It has a distinctive design, rear-engined, with independent rear suspension, an evolution of the swing axle on the Porsche 356. Since its introduction in 1963, the 911 has undergone continuous development although the basic concept has remained little changed. Throughout its lifetime, the 911 has been modified by private teams and by the factory itself for racing, rallying and other forms of competition and is among the most successful competition cars ever. The earliest edition of the 911 had a flat-six engine in the ‘boxer’ configuration, similar to the 356, air-cooled, rear-mounted and displaced 1991cc. It was mated to a four or five-speed manual ‘Type 901’ gearbox. Built in March 1969, this 911S presents a rare opportunity to the Porsche connoisseur and enthusiast. Being a crossover year model, the 1969 911S was the first and only 2.0 litre S to use the longer wheelbase body of the later 2.2 litre S variant and the legendary 2.7 RS and the first S to make use of Porsche’s ingenious MFI fuel injection system. Other unique elements found only on the ’69 car were the magnesium cased engine with special high compression pistons and single plugs heads, as well as a special oil cooler layout running through the sills with the oil cooler itself sourced from the competition department. Aluminium brake calipers, ‘deep 6’ Fuchs wheels, woven dash and a 7,300rpm marked tachometer are amongst other notable unique features. The included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, shows the car to have been delivered in Ossi Blue with black leatherette interior. Supplied new to Ontario, Canada, this wonderful example has been lucky enough to have been owned by enthusiastic and meticulous owners throughout its life. The comprehensive history file shows a record of servicing, valuation appraisals, pictures and mileage records throughout, rarely seen with any car. The car remained in Canada until 2005 where the two main owners had cherished it for 28 years between them, before it went to its new owner, a Mr. Louis who imported it to the USA and where for the next five years, it resided just outside New York. It then moved to California where the car was kept for a further seven years by a Mr. Wolfe. Imported to the UK in 2018, the vendor has enjoyed this fabulous little 911 as part of his collection and reports the car to be an absolute pleasure to drive. Since his ownership, the car has been maintained by well renowned Porsche specialists GCS Engineering and Carrera Performance. Over the past couple of years, the car has had any maintenance required carried out immediately. Main items include the fuel pump seals and injection system being serviced and tuned in September 2021, the front oil cooler was replaced in March 2022, the wheels refurbished and fitted with a new set of Pirelli Cinturatos, (including the spare), in August 2022.Supplied with a UK V5C registration document, a fantastic history file, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, driver’s handbook and it will come to auction with a new MoT test certificate. Having such a good history file, being matching numbers, highly original and in lovely condition, this pretty and rare 911S is not one to be missed.Â

UK-supplied (C16), RHD, manual gearbox car with the ‘X50’ factory-fitted performance upgrade (450bhp with different turbos, intercoolers, ECU tune and reinforced gearbox). Porsche GB R8 2021 Concours Winner with a full and comprehensive service history. When the 996 was launched, it was greeted with almost universal praise, and heralded by most people who knew what they were talking about, as the best sorted and most usable 911 that had ever carried the badge. Richard Hammond was effusive about the 996, describing it as 'visceral and exciting'. Tiff Needell said it was 'better in almost every way' than the 993, offering a driving experience that was 'second to none'.The 996 introduced the PSM electronic stability control system, which helped four-wheel drive models harness their power and lay it down with more control than in any previous 911. As with earlier iterations, power outputs in the desirable and pricey Turbo or Turbo S versions were significantly higher – north of 400bhp in the later 3.6-litre cars and gearbox options were of the manual 6-speed or 5-speed Tiptronic variety. In 2002, Porsche introduced the Turbo ‘X50’ option, which included larger turbochargers and intercoolers along with revised engine control software and a reinforced gearbox. The X50 increased power to 450bhp and torque to 610Nm, offering an impressive 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds. Where other 996s suffered both physically and reputationally from a somewhat over-hyped propensity to eat their own engines in a catastrophic and terminal fashion, the Turbo, GT2 and GT3 variants all came with the legendary - and trouble-free - ‘Mezger’ engine derived from various 1970s racers and the later 911 GT1.The car presented here is a C16, UK-market 2003 Porsche 911 (996) Turbo (factory-fitted) X50, with the ‘one-to-have’ manual gearbox, fastidiously maintained and highly specified (sunroof, BOSE hi-fi, climate control, heated seats, rear wiper, 6-CD player, original PCM 2.0 satellite navigation, aluminium handbrake and gear knob). In striking and rare Polar Silver Metallic with black leather trim and Porsche crest-embossed headrests, its aesthetic matches it performance. With just 57,000 miles (a mere 3,500 dry-weather miles covered in the last 10 years) supported by a full and comprehensive service history with a folder of receipts, our vendor describes the car as "immaculate" and Porsche Club GB agreed, awarding it 'R8 Concours Winner' in 2021 - no small feat indeed! To illustrate this, the alloy wheels are unmarked, belying its mileage, fitted with new Pirelli Zero tyres, plus recently new brake discs/pads. The A/C condensers and front radiators have been replaced, which is a common issue with this model. It also benefits from the desirable addition of a Porsche OEM quick-shifter gear mechanism (the original unit will accompany the car). With two keys, a complete and original book-pack and the majority of old MOT Certificates present, this is an exceptional example of its type which has been freshly serviced and MOT'd (until 29th January 2024) ready for sale.Service History summary:· 04/11/2004 – Porsche Centre, Wilmslow – 11,870 miles· 03/11/2005 – Porsche Centre, Wilmslow – 23,563 miles· 07/11/2006 – Porsche Centre, Wilmslow – 32,498 miles· 14/04/2008 – Porsche Centre, Wilmslow – 40,274 miles· 05/05/2010 – Porsche Centre, Wilmslow – 45,344 miles· 16/01/2012 – RSJ Sports Cars, Slough – 54,350 miles· 01/03/2013 – Porsche & Euro, Barnsley – 55,132 miles· 11/04/2014 – Porsche & Euro, Barnsley – 55,759 miles· 08/08/2015 – Zentrum Porsche Specialist, Mansfield – 56,142 miles· 31/08/2016 – Zentrum Porsche Specialist, Mansfield – 56,323 miles· 26/09/2018 – Zentrum Porsche Specialist, Mansfield – 56,544 miles· 30/09/2020 – Zentrum Porsche Specialist, Mansfield – 56,815 miles· 17/09/2020 – Cavendish Porsche Specialist, Long Eaton – 57,343 milesX50 examples are fairly rare - certainly in this sort of condition - and this is a great opportunity to own one of the best available, offering ‘supercar performance’, with a manual-shifting gearbox, in arguably the most desirable colour combination, this modern-classic Porsche warrants proper attention.SpecificationMake: PORSCHEModel: 911 996 TURBO X50 MANUALYear: 2003Chassis Number: WP0ZZZ99Z4S680271Registration Number: MX53 YTPTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 64430724 Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 57714 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Black Click here for more details and images
2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI-TP UK AWD 2.5 litre turbo 4 door saloon car One owner since 200 miles and full Subaru main dealer Service history Registration: FV61 XMG Chassis: JF1GVFKH3BG015157 Odometer: 115000 Transmission: Manual MOT: February 2024 Guide £8,000-£10,000 . Subaru main dealer service history from new . Full book pack with two keys . Totally standard and unmodified specification . Pirelli tyres all round Outside Presented in stunning Silver this car is a testament to the previous owner as other than a few minor stone chips to the bonnet and small scuff on rear near side wheel arch there isn't much we can fault this car on. All 4 wheels have been refurbished recently and all four matching Pirelli tyres have good tread depth remaining. Inside Typical Japanese interior; simple but functional is in excellent order with some slight wear on the drivers seat bolster and the seat base bolster is also showing some signs of distortion commensurate with the mileage displayed. The rest of the black interior is excellent with the carpets and steering wheel showing little signs of wear. Mechanical The security of that wonderful low down turbo charged flat four allows these Subaru's to give the driver total confidence when pushing on and this one is no different. It fires instantly from cold with no undue smoke or rattles and drives well through all the gears. With a comprehensive history file including full Subaru service history from new, this Scooby has wanted for nothing. History A 2 owner car with its latest recorded owner purchasing the car in March 2013 our Impreza has a full Subaru dealer service history the first stamp of 13 being on 4/12/12@258 miles and the last being its 120k mile service at 107,787. Our Opinion These last of the line Impreza's look amazing value compared to some of the earlier models, and this one's impeccable maintenance history and condition looks like its covered less than half its recorded mileage. A good fun car that would be happy either as a daily driver or weekend Samurai warrior.
