An emerald and diamond three stone ring, the central octagonal shape emerald is in a sixteen claw setting flanked by old European cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 3.01cts, colour L/Tinted, clarity SI1-2. Emerald weight 2.33cts. Condition: The ring is in overall good condition. The emerald is of medium green hue with an even saturation of colour running throughout the stone, there are typical inclusions scattered throughout the emerald that are not significantly affecting light passing through the stone. There are a couple of small surface reaching fractures and chips to the facet edges of the emerald. Both diamonds are fairly bright, they appear to be slightly abraded to the facet edges. All claws are secure with slight scratches to the ring shank. Ring size O.

An amethyst ring, the abstract top faceted pear shape amethyst is in a collet setting. Stamped 18K. Weight 6.2gms. Condition: Overall condition good, with very light surface scratches to the ring shank. There are abrasions and some small chips to the amethyst, particularly around the edge, it has purposeful evenly spaced indentations to the girdle. There are some small nicks to the collet setting. Ring size O 1/2.
A natural black opal and diamond cluster ring, the central oval opal cabochon surrounded by sixteen round brilliant cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 1.88cts, colour- G- H/I, clarity VS. Opal measures 15.31 x 11.58 x 4.35mm. Accompanied by a report from GRS, stating the stone is a natural black opal, with the country of origin being Australia. Report no. GRS2008-080438T, dated 4th September 2008. Stamped 18K Condition: The ring is in good condition. A strong full play-of-colour can be seen throughout the opal, to include orange, red, yellow, green, blue, mauve and pink. . This has a large segmented distribution. Two Edwardian 18ct gold diamond set rings, to include a five stone ring, each graduated old European cut diamond within a claw setting and a three stone ring, the central old European cut diamond flanked by a ruby. Hallmarks for Chester 1902 & 1907. Weight 7gms. Condition: Overall condition is good with wear commensurate to the age of the pieces, hallmarks are clear and legible to both. The five stone diamond ring has two diamonds with large chips to them and one has a small chip to the table facet. There are white inclusions and internal fractures to the diamonds, some of the settings may need attention. Ring size K. The diamond and ruby ring has noticeable surface scratches, the diamond is bright and lively, there is minor abrasion to the rubies. Ring size O 1/2.

There are hazy white inclusions to the central ruby, the inclusions run in an angular direction across the stone, the ruby appears quite opaque/translucent. With slight abrasion to the facet edges of the ruby. The outer diamonds are not very well matched, one of the diamonds has an extremely shallow pavillion and scattered inclusions running throughout the stone. There are scratches to the ring shank in keeping with the age of the piece. Ring size O.

The diamond is from the H Samual range, the diamond has 73 facets and not 57 and is stamped forever to the inside of the ring shank. The diamond is nice and bright and the claws are secure. Accompanied by a report from AIGS stating that the natural spodumene-kunzite is pink in colour, oval in shape, the dimensions are 12.01 x 10.29 x 7.18mm, weight 6.11cts. Report number GB10070484, dated 27th July 2010. Condition: Overall very good condition. The kunzite is a good clean stone with a bright vivid colour and the diamonds are bright and lively. Accompanied by a report from AIGS stating the natural tourmaline is bluish green in colour, oval in shape, dimensions 7.73 x 6.05 x 5.23mm, weight 1.53cts. Report number GB10070487, dated 27th July 2010. Condition: Overall very good condition, there are some nibbles to the girdle and an internal fracture to one end. The diamonds are drawing a yellow colour. Ring size O.

Abrasion to central emerald and surface reaching fractures. Condition: Overall condition is fair to good, with minor surface wear to the shank. The ring would benefit from a clean, one of the diamonds has an easily visible black inclusion to the central table, six of the diamonds have noticeable abrasion to the girdles, some of the claws may need attention. The emerald is very abraded and has a central surface reaching fracture and many visible internal fractures which seriously affects the light transmission through the stone and may need assessment for re-polishing.
