A 9ct gold cased wristwatch by Movado, the circular silvered dial with gilt Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, to a jewelled manual wind movement numbered 6318, the case hallmarked for Birmingham 1955 with maker's mark ALD, numbered 12321 and 688904, on an unassociated strap, case width 3.1cmCondition report: Scuffs, spotting and patchy light discolouration to dial. Verdigris traces near to signature. Scuffs, scratches and nicks/chips to glass and case, knife marks to case. Marks to the inner case back are clearly struck. The winder is possibly a later replacement and is currently functioning. The movement runs when wound but is untested for working order, which cannot be guaranteed. The unassociated strap is worn.
