On this occasion the chosen one was the legendary producer, conductor, composer, executive, trumpeter and author Quincy Jones. For more than 60 years, Quincy Jones has played a key role in the development of modern music. During his career he has experimented with different musical genres such as pop, rock, hip-hop, jazz, African and Brazilian genres, resulting in hybrid and original musical creations.This pen in honour of the artist with the most Grammy nominations, 79 in total, is made of black carbon wrapped at the ends by two red resin rings that simulate marble. The pen is engraved with the letter "Q" on the cap, as well as on the nib, the musician's personal logo and symbol of his great legacy. The clip, made of brass, has a modern, arched design to facilitate the use of the pen.The collection consists of 1933 pens of each version in carbon fibre, the number alluding to the year of his birth, and this is the 600/1933 issue.

The colour was chosen for its particular combination of light brown with lighter pearly streaks that resemble organic tobacco leaves. Its shape is deceptively simple, like a cigar, adorned on the outside by the "cigar band" in precious metal, which declares the brand and its year of foundation. In terms of size, it is a perfect replica of a real cigar, specifically a classic model called "Laguito n.2", with a calibre of 152 mm in length and 15.08 mm in diameter (approximately).Like a real cigar, the pen has a rounded tip for "piercing" and lighting. There are two nibs with the same motif, one in black resin with a silver case and the other in red resin, also with a silver case. The two-coloured nibs are made of 18 Kts. gold.
