On this occasion the chosen one was the legendary producer, conductor, composer, executive, trumpeter and author Quincy Jones. For more than 60 years, Quincy Jones has played a key role in the development of modern music. During his career he has experimented with different musical genres such as pop, rock, hip-hop, jazz, African and Brazilian genres, resulting in hybrid and original musical creations.This pen in honour of the artist with the most Grammy nominations, 79 in total, is made of black carbon wrapped at the ends by two red resin rings that simulate marble. The pen is engraved with the letter "Q" on the cap, as well as on the nib, the musician's personal logo and symbol of his great legacy. The clip, made of brass, has a modern, arched design to facilitate the use of the pen.The collection consists of 1933 pens of each version in carbon fibre, the number alluding to the year of his birth, and this is the 600/1933 issue.

The crown of the cap is designed to represent the dome of the Qol?ärif or Kul Sharif Mosque (the oldest mosque in the city). The coat of arms of the city is engraved with a diamond point at the base of the cap.Other symbols of Kazan are delineated by a bas-relief engraving on the surface of the 925 sterling silver barrel: in particular, the Suyumbeki Rower, the most important building in the Kremlin, and an Arabic inscription taken from the Koran. The undecorated parts are made of precious green resin, the colour of Islam.

It was, along with Stipula and Visconti, an attempt to revive the old glories of the classic Italian fountain pen. None of the three had the history of Omas, Aurora, Montegrappa or Ancora, but their model was the great successes of the turn of the century and, above all, the use of absolutely classic materials and systems.On the mechanical side, Delta's hallmark was the use of the side lever and the rubber inner tank as the standard loading system for its limited editions. His models evoked great cultural moments in the history of Italy, which is like saying the history of art.
