A mid 19th century folding compound and simple monocular microscope by William Harris & Co. 50 High Holborn, London, in its fitted mahogany case with paper maker’s label to inside of the lid. Condition - fair to good, some minor accessories missing and damage to the case. William Harris was working at 50 high Holborn, London from 1812 to 1848.
German WW2 Monocular and Binocular, Nice original WW2 German optics, one monocular, ‘Dienstglas’ marked, as well as the makers code ‘rln’ for Carl Zeiss. Overall good condition, with great lens. Original strap still in place. Also, a pair of 6x30 binoculars in tan, complete with strap, lens protector and tunic button down strap. Very nice finish with period wear exposing some of the alloy body. Makers marked ‘cag’ and stamped ‘dienstglas’.

A Victorian lacquered brass compound monocular microscope, by Andrew Ross, London, the main viewing tube with ratchet mechanism above a fully adjustable stage and mirror, the brass bound mahogany case fitted with additional lenses, magnifying stand, and other associated parts, 50cms high (adjusted down) the case, 21 x 27 x 27cms high.
