THE MISFITS40" x 60"Very Fine- on Linen United Artists , 1961This fantastic poster announces the Magnum Photos assignment of nine of their most outstanding photographers to document the making of this film. Magnum is and was a famous photographer's cooperative. The photographers who all had one of their photos shown on the poster were many.Professional corrections have been made to edge wear, pinholes, creasing, and small tears, although some of these issues may still be slightly visible. Unaddressed faint smudges remain. The poster was placed on linen. The borders and parts of the white background have been airbrushed. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.Both Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable made their final screen appearances in this John Huston-directed adaptation of Arthur Miller's Western short story about the relationship between a divorcee and an aging cowboy.
