MANITAS DE PLATA; a signed CBS Disques printed portrait, signed on the front Manitas and also signed verso with a ballpoint ink drawing, the card framed with a photocopy of the reverse, framed and glazed as one, overall 47 x 22.5cm, together with a 45rpm single for 'Blue Suede Shoes' by Carl Perkins, signed by Carl Perkins to the lower right and inscribed to the upper left on the paper sleeve, framed and glazed (2).We have not authenticated these signatures, please satisfy yourself as to the veracity of the item prior to bidding.Provenance: From the collection of Stephen Knowles, bass guitarist with The Factotums, a Manchester band signed by the Rolling Stones manager. The band played with Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Tom Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Manfred Man and many others. CONDITION REPORT The two Manitas items are loose in the frame, specks of dirt inside of the frame and general wear to the frame itself. The Carl Perkins paper s lightly browned throughout, we have inspected the signature outside of the frame and it does appear to be ink which shows stronger pooling when viewed from the inside.

A vintage Remington "World Service" noiseless portable typewriter, with continental AZERTY keyboard, Srr. No. N950040, cased. Provenace by family repute: The vendor's late wife's grandfather worked for / beside Lord Rothermere; his name was Harry Morison and from anecdotal family knowledge he was the editor of the Daily Mail (continental edition) published in Paris in the 1930's from where the typewriter is beloved to have originated just before the outbreak of WWII. Harry Morison was awarded the Légion d'​?honneur. His award and medal was inherited and remained in the family with Dr Michael Wingfield Evans.

Royal Navy dress sword attributed to Captain David Peter Seely, with lion head pommel, wire bound shagreen grip, folding guard engraved Hon D.P Seely R.N, sword knot, 80cm fullered blade, scabbard, hilt by Gieves Ltd and sword sling, with copy research paperwork. Captain David Peter Seely, 4th Baron Mottistone CBE KStJ (16 December 1920 - 24 November 2011) was a British peer. Seely was born in 1920, he was the eldest son of the 1st Baron Mottistone from his second marriage to Evelyn Izme Murray, daughter of Montolieu Oliphant-Murray, 1st Viscount Elibank and 10th Lord Elibank. He was a grandson of Sir Charles Seely, 1st Baronet, his godparents were Winston Churchill and the then Duke of Cornwall (subsequently Edward VIII, and then later Duke of Windsor). He served in the Royal Navy, reaching the rank of captain before retiring in 1966. He commanded Cossack between 1958 and 1959 and Ajax between 1963 and 1965 and was Lord Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight from 1986 to 1995 and the last Governor of the Isle of Wight from 1992 to 1995, where the Seely family have played a prominent role since the 1850's. He was made an Honorary Doctor of Literature by Bournemouth University in 1993 and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1984. He was also a member of the Royal Yacht Squadron. He died on 24 Novemeber 2011 and was succeeded by his eldest son Peter John Philip Seely born 29 October 1949, godson of the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
