Included in this auction are 8 Lobmeyr clear crystal stems. They feature a round, paneled fluted and faceted intaglio cut bowl, a faceted cut baluster-shaped stem, and a round intaglio cut foot. Each bowl features Persian-style decorative motifs of flowers, baskets, birds, canopies, strapwork and swags amid scrolling foliage. The forms are all the same, but includes two different yet similar cut patterns; 3 are one pattern, and five are the other. They measure about 5 5/8" tall and 2 3/8" in diameter at the rim. The bases are all engraved with "JLW" monogram for J. Lobmeyr, Wien. Two are in very good condition, free of chips or cracks. One has a 1/8" hairline on the rim, Others have small chips to the knops under the bowl, and one also has a chip at the knop at the base of the stem. As shown in the images, these chips are very minor. Otherwise, the rims and foot rims are very clean, and free of chips or repairs. They have typical bottom age wear for 120 year old fine crystal.
