Käthe Kruse (Germany) Cloth Doll: moulded face with painted features including finely painted blue eyes, fixed head with neck seam, three pate seams to rear of head, body and limbs comprised of several pieces of cloth each, for example arms comprised of two pieces of cloth with fingers seperately quilted, and thumb sewn on seperately, faint markings to sole of feet (one reads `Made in Germany`, the other is indistinguishable). Doll wears white undergarments including Liberty Bodice, a blue velvet dress with popper fastenings and lace collar, matching hat, and blue shoes. Height 42cm. G condition with some paint loss to head, and possible small paint touch-in to nose.
