A matched Edwardian Scottish four piece demi fluted oval silver tea service by Wilson & Sharp, comprising a tea kettle on stand with burner, teapot, cream and sugar, Edinburgh, 1903,1907 & 1909, gross weight 61.7oz. A 1920s SIX PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SET FOR THE AMERICAN MARKET HORACE WOODWARD & CO LTD., LONDON 1921, FOR BRAND-CHATILLON CO. NEW YORK Comprising a spirit kettle on stand with burner, teapot, coffee pot, water pot, twin-handled sugar basin with cover and milk jug, all of plain form with waisted girdle, applied cut-card scroll work to handles, the spouts to the teapot, coffee pot and spirit kettle each modelled as sea serpents, the domed lids, set with bun finials, each raised on a circular stepped foot (6) 35cm high (spirit kettle, handle extended), 161.5oz (combined) Brand-Chatillon Co. (1916-1952)Silversmiths and jewellers founded by George A. Brand and Alf J. Chatillon. The firm was sold to William Wise & Son in 1925 and closed in 1952.

Victorian silver tea trio comprising silver spirit kettle, stand and burner together with a sugar bowl and milk jug, Britannia London assay mark dated 1880, mm George Fox, 2.15 kgs or 4lbs 11.8 oz. The spirit kettle of melon form with turned ebony handle, with good clean marks. Provenance: Cotswold gentleman.
