Originally purchased second hand in 1977 by the vendor from Honky Tonk Music in Hadleigh, Essex, it went on to be used in Dr Feelgood's studio on Canvey Island. It was then used on tour by Warren Kennedy of Eddie and the Hot Rods and was retired until 1996 when it was used by The Divine Comedy on the albums 'Regeneration' and 'Fin De Siecle'. It can be seen being used in the video for The Divine Comedy song 'Generation Sex'.
