No faults, snags or signs of wear. No particular odour. Cinnamon wool jacket - few moth holes and damage to lining under one arm. Derek Rose dressing gown - very good condition, very slight grubbiness. Noto dressing gown - very good condition. Black robes with orange lining - generally very good condition for age. Belts are frayed and all cuffs show edge wear. Lining slightly faded

Militaria : An early 20thC pair of Radio operator's headphones , together with a cased pair of binoculars by Dolland , London , and a further pair of cased binoculars by Hensoldt , Wetzlar CONDITION: Please Note - we do not make reference to the condition of lots within catalogue descriptions. Dollond. A 2 3/4 inch refracting telescope, signed around the eyepiece Dolland, London, the 43 inch lacquered brass body tube with rack and pinion focusing and star-finder above, mounted on racked semi-circle, twin 5-draw telescopic steadying bars, tapering pillar support above folding tripod stand, a pair of mahogany handled struts for rotating and elevating the telescope; in a fitted mahogany box with various eyepieces, complete with lens cap, also with original mahogany tripod, early 19th century.
Early nineteenth century mahogany and ebony stick barometer with concealed mercury tube, domed reservoir and arched top, turned ivory knob top, silvered scale signed - 'Dolland, London', 94cm overall CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Minor surface wear and scratching commensurate with age and use. Veneer is cracked across top of arch and top left hand side of case. Dial silvering is in good condition. Brass upper tube mount tarnished
A fine George IV bowfronted mahogany stick barometer by Dolland of London with caddy top cornice over a curved glass, the silvered register plate with maker`s name and adjustable vernier with turned ivory knob, the trunk with silvered mercury thermometer, the base with an ebonised urn cistern cover, 38¾in. (98.5cm.) high. .
A mahogany cased microscope by Dolland of London and a lacquered brass dissecting microscope by Andrew Ross of London (incomplete) CONDITION REPORTS Wear, scuffs, scratches, tarnish, some losses. We can make no guarantees as to whether items are complete, nor whether in working order. Front of case missing and sliding wooden shelf/inner fitment is currently stuck/jammed so microscope not removed for inspection.

Microscope stand 27.5cm note: In its original state, the microscope would have had its separate case, probably with alternative microscope tubes and lenses.
