A 19th Century Wax Shoulder Head Doll, with oval black eyes, original brown wig, pink cheeks and lips, fabric body with wax lower arms and legs, wearing a white cotton lace trimmed dress (possibly original), white cotton undergarments and knitted bootees and bonnet, 30cm . Condition; cracks to either side of her face, end of nose chipped/rubbed. Small scratches to the chest and back, with slight staining to the back as well. Slight staining to some of the wax arms and legs. Brown stains to the bodice of the dress and slight wear overall.

A Late 19th Century Wax Pedlar Doll, a wax over papier mache shoulder head doll, with brown glass eyes, open mouth, curly wig, on a composition body, wearing a black and white gingham dress, red cape with hood, surrounded by a huge assortment of miniature items, including jewellery, ceramics, metal wares, treen, on an oval base with glass domed cover, base 50cm by 23cm, dome height 49cm. I haven't removed her dress, as did not want to disturb the display. There are a couple of flakes of wax to the nose, and some tiny stress cracks near the eyes.

Blond doll floral dress - replacement composition hands, later body and clothing. AM390 doll - slight scuffing to face, later clothing.

Miniature Bisque Socket Head and Shoulder Dolls, including a bisque socket head figure in Highland costume with fixed brown eyes, brown wig, closed mouth, on a composition body, and later bagpipes, 12.5cm; another of a young girl on bisque jointed body, painted face and white hair, in a black striped dress, 10cm; another smaller on a jointed body with fixed brown eyes, brown wig and painted mouth, 9cm; bisque shoulder head doll with painted face, on a fabric body and bisque lower limbs, wearing later velvet dress, 13cm (4). Bagpipe doll - two firing faults to either side of mouth, scuffing to face and some paint flakes, later tartan ribbon and bagpipes, body scuffed. Bisque doll in black striped dress - scuffing to face and some paint losses, replacement dress. Bisque jointed doll with brown eyes - slight scuffing and wear. Bisque doll, brown velvet dress - costume later, slight rubbing to the nose, scuffing to face.

Assorted Miniature China and Bisque Head Miniature Dolls, comprising two similar bisque shoulder head dolls with fixed brown eyes, blond hair, wearing European costumes, on a fabric body with bisque lower arms and legs, 15cm; bisque head doll with fixed blue eyes, painted mouth, composition body, wearing red checked skirt, 11.5cm; two similar miniature dolls, one with moulded and painted hair wearing a modern purple and lace dress, 8cm, the other with blond wig, later blue floral dress, 8cm; bisque jointed baby doll with painted face, 7.5cm; two china shoulder head dolls, with black moulded hair and painted features, one in floral dress and other stripes, bisque lower arms and legs, 13cm (8). Blond doll with blue coat - slight scuffing overall. Glue to one side of her face, small firing crack behind ear. Other with white kid leather jacket, slight wear overall. Bisque head doll blue eyes - eyes have fallen back slightly, scuffing to face and body, later clothing. Two similar dolls - both have slight wear and later clothing. Baby doll - slight wear. China head doll in floral dress - painted face rubbed, head possibly repainted and marks to the top, boots rubbed, other has possible restoration to one boot.

A Bahr and Proschild German Bisque Socket Oriental Doll, impressed 220, with fixed brown eyes, pierced ears, replacement plait, in later clothing, on a composition jointed body with original lower jointed legs, with blue painted stockings and red carved shoes, 32cm. Very fine hairline crack to the back of the head, shaped and the length of half a paper clip. Tiny remains/spots of glossy and other paint to the top of her head. One hand has fingers reglued, other finger ends missing, chips and wear to the composition body. Wear to the paint near the knee joint, scratches to both of the blue stockings, cracks to the front of both ankles, and overpainting/restoration to the back of the feet, possibly reglued? Scuffing to shoes. Face is dirty and needs a good clean.

Circa 1930 Lenci 300 Series Boy Doll, dressed in brown felt shorts, green and brown knitted cardigan, socks and yellow scarf, brown lace up shoes, fair hair and brown side glancing eyes, 42cm. Condition; slight discolouration to the 'skin', shorts and one sock have been repaired. Scarf torn and missing tufted trims, cardigan faded and couple of holes to one sleeve. Some hair from the front of the hairline missing. Crack to the centre of the lips. Shoes scuffed and tiny split to the back of one.

Circa 1930s Chad Valley Fabric Doll Prince Edward, HRH The Duke of Kent, wearing white socks, kid leather shoes, blue short sleeved top, white shorts and matching belt, blue glass eyes, rosy cheeks, 39cm. condition; discolouration to the 'skin', and some brown spotting to the back of his legs. Clothes are all slightly discoloured and a couple of marks. Hair looking a bit wild! Has got several pin prick sized holes to his forehead, another to the side of his face, another by his eyebrow. Slight wear overall.

A 1962 Barbie Bubble Head Doll, in a black patent hinged Barbie travel wardrobe, enclosing three card boxes of accessories, and assorted costume . Condition - scuffing and wear to case, metal clasp and studs are rusted. Inside it again shows been very played with, clothes in mixed condition, doll is quite playworn.
