A GROUP OF CERAMICS, to include Fieldings Crown Devon lustre twin handled vase florally decorated on blue ground, height 16cm, a Rubens ware 'Pomegranate' chamberstick, Royal Stafford three piece tea service, Jackfield style teapots, Newhall Boumier ware dish length 29.5cm, Carltonware blue oriental scene ginger jar (missing cover), height 17cm etc (11)
A graduated set of three Carltonware "Guinness" advertising wall plaques, modelled as toucans in flight, each balancing two pints of Guinness on their beaks, printed marks and moulded shape numbers to the underside, largest 25 cm wide. CONDITION REPORT: All three toucans have the remnants of old glue on the underside which can be scraped off and has not caused any damage. On the larger toucan there is a very fine 5 mm long light surface scratch where the bottom beak joins the top beak approximately 3 cm from the tip of the beak. This is not instantly obvious but is there all the same. There is a smaller white dot approximately 1 cm from the left of the eye of the same toucan and under a magnifying glass this is a small enamel chip. Other than those very small issues all the toucans appear to be in good order and free from any post production cracks or restorations. These were purchased in these rooms approximately 12 - 14 years ago at a price of over £300.
