With a Sphinx as a finial on the lid, and with an associated wooden stand. Ginger Jar 12 1/2ins (32cms) high. Marked, Carltonware, Made in England, and Hieroglyphic mark. *The series of pieces given the name Tutankhamen were produced in very limited numbers to celebrate the discovery by Howard Carter in 1922. There is no pattern number underneath, but it is probably 2708.
