Signed 10 x 8 photograph of Stephens seated in a three quarter length pose, in costume as Sherlock Holmes, with various scientific apparatus before him, in a scene from The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970). Signed by Stephens in bold black ink to the lower border. A pencil annotation to the verso in the hand of a collector indicates that the autograph was obtained in person on 17th October 1975 following a performance of Sherlock Holmes at the Broadhurst Theatre on Broadway, New York.
