An unusual 19th century mahogany corner commode with hinged lid, mock drawer elevation and swept supports together with a mahogany standard lamp fashioned from a 19th century mahogany bed post, two reproduction wine tables on tripod supports, a mahogany occasional table with fretwork detail and a string topped stool

Four Poster bed, made for a Grand Designs episode featuring a Cheltenham property. King size. Approx 242 cm high, 175 cm wide, 239 cm long. Wood on the four posts and bed head is old (vendor believes 200yrs) and from Afghanistan. Curtain rails and pelmets were made to complete the bed. Curtains are silk. The bed is in our saleroom in its dismantled state as our ceiling height is too low for it to be fully displayed as a whole.
A pair of French walnut bed ends, with rococo style decoration, on dwarf cabriole legs with scroll toes, 143 cm wide Condition report Report by GH In terms of age its a good quality 20th century reproduction piece. The total length of the bed is 197 cm, and that is including the backboard, and the maximum height of the backboard is 149 cm. The mattress base itself is 130 cm wide and 185 cm long. Occasional chips, scratches, cracks and gouges commensurate with age and use. One of the pieces of scroll moulding is missing from the foot end of one of the side rails. Also the veneer is lifting and in some places missing particularly down the top of the side rails. One of the castors is broken but still attached. Overall presents well.
