Recto signed by all members: Julian Edwin Adderley, Nat Adderley, Joe Zawinul, Victor Gaskin, Roy Mc Curdy. - Julian Edwin "Cannonball" Adderley was an American jazz alto saxophonist who enjoyed particular success in the 1950s and 1960s. In the late 1950s he also performed with Miles Davis for two years. - Poster from a performance of his quintet in Frankfurt in 1969 - corners somewhat bumped and with small holes from previous mounting, some creasing to edges. Altogether in very good condition, rare with the signatures of the entire ensemble.

Royal Worcester model of a spadefish, together with a Royal Adderley English robin and a Beswick Mickey Mouse marked 'Goofy' to the under side and a Hummel figurine of a cartoon fox. (B.P. 21% + VAT) 'Mickey' has been badly broken and repaired, both legs have poorly glued repairs (maybe glued onto wrong feet) and dull when tapped. Hummel figure has some minor wear/scratches. Robin has no obvious damage. Spode Fish, generally good, one very small chip to the edge of the bottom back fin.
CANNONBALL ADDERLEY - SOMETHING ELSE LP (ORIGINAL US MONO PRESSING - BLUE NOTE BLP 1595). Fantastic to see first US mono pressing from 1958 of Something Else from Cannonball Adderley introducing Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Sam Jones and Art Blakey... The record (BLP 1595, Blue Note Records 47 West 63rd NYC labels to both sides, deep groove to both sides, no 'R' both sides and with RVG and Plastylite P both sides) is in neat VG+ condition showing some light surface marks though absolutely no heavier feelable scratches. The original mono 47 West 63rd sleeve is in solid VG condition showing some minor creases and some tape residue on the reverse. Witht the spine sharp, clean and fully legible.
