JAZZ & BLUES - RIVERSIDE RECORDS LP COLLECTION. Expert grooves with this collection of 16 x LPs on Riverside Records. Largely UK pressings from the late 60s/70s. Including John Lee Hooker - Tupelo Blues (673 020) and You're Leavin' Me, Baby (673 005), Bill Evans - Speak Low (673023), Recorded Live At SHelley's Manne Hole (673003) and Bill Evans (673008), Charlie Byrd (x2), Cannonball Adderley (x2), Thelonious Monk (x2), Johnny Griffin/Eddie Lockjaw Davis, Art Blakey And The Jazz Messengers and Mongo Santamaria. To include Dexter Gordon - Swiss Nights and Biting THe Apple, Tete Montoliu - Words Of Love, Stan Getz Quartet, John Tchicai Trio - Real Tchicai, Archie Shepp & Horace Parlan, Hilton Ruiz - Piano Man, Walt Dickerson Trio, Anthony Braxton, Nat Adderley Septet, Jimmy Knepper, Duke Jordan, Art Farmer, Andrew Hill/Trio and George Russell. Please note that all sleeves will contain archival stickers from the BBC. Some of these stickers are 'on top' of the plastic with some 'underneath' (i.e. on the sleeve itself). Some sleeves have been 'laminated' either by way of 'punching' the plastic wallet to two parts of the sleeve or by fully wrapping the plastic to the sleeve. Where sleeves are laminated stickers can be removed with the use of appropriate sticker removal fluids however it is unlikely that stickers can be removed from any sleeves that are not laminated. The sleeves as such in this collection are generally graded as VG with the records often clean VG+ to Ex+/archive.

Hard to come across 2nd US (mono) pressing of the iconic 1958 album also featuring Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Sam Jones and Art Blakey. The record (BLP 1595, 'Blue Note Records Inc' '47 West 63rd' labels, deep groove, with ®, with RVG and Plastylite 'p') is in Ex condition with some light surface marks and minor shadowing. The sleeve (2nd printing 'Blue Note Records Inc., 43 West 63rd St.' is in Ex condition with some light and minor foxing and some minor age-related edgwear.
