A BRITISH PATTERN 1858 ENFIELD CUTLASS BAYONET. The steel cutlass-style hilt with checkered wood grp and spring catch; slightly curved single-edge blade with false edge at the tip and knight's head mark on the ricasso; black leather scabbard with iron mounts. Blade lg. 26 7/8, overall lg. 32 3/4 in. Condition: Hilt has is toned to mottled gray/brown, blade is mostly bright with scattered light gray mottling; scabbard surface is abraded, mounts are toned to mottled brown.
