UTAGAWA HIROSHIGE (1797-1858), UTAGAWA KUNIYOSHI (1797-1861), AND UTAGAWA KUNISADA (UTAGAWA TOYOKUNI III, 1786-1865) Edo period (1615-1868), mid-19th century Five oban prints, one chuban print, two oban tate-e diptych prints, and four oban tate-e triptych prints of various subjects: three oban prints and three triptychs prints by Hiroshige, the first, a yoko-e of Kameido Tenmangu keidai no yuki (Tenmangu Shrine at Kameido in Snow) from the series Toto Meisho (Famous Views of the Eastern Capital), the second, a yoko-e of Soshu Enoshima iwaya no zu (View of the Grotto at Enoshima in Sagami Province) from the series Honcho meisho (Famous Views of Japan), the third, a tate-e of Kameyama from the series Gojusantsugi meisho zue (53 Famous Places on the Tokaido), the fourth to sixth, three triptychs of Susaki Benzaiten keidai zenzu, do kaikin shioi no zu (Complete View of the Precincts of Suzaki Benzaiten Shrine, Picture of Shell-gathering at the Same Sea), Ryogoku Eko-in keidai zenzu (Complete View of the Precincts of the Eko-in in Ryogoku), and Kameiido Umeyashiki zenzu (Complete View of the Plum Garden at Kameido) from the series Toto meisho (Famous Views of the Eastern Capital); two oban prints and one triptych print by Kuniyoshi, the seventh, a musha-e triptych depicting the battle of Okehazama in 1560, the eighth, a print of another musha-e, and the ninth, a print of yakusha-e; two diptych prints and one chuban print by Kunisada I, the 10th and 11th, one diptych and one chuban print from the series Nisemurasaki Inaka Genji (False Murasaki and Rural Genji), and the 12th, a diptych depicting the actor Ichimura Uzaemon in a kabuki performance; all variously published and variously signed; all framed and glazed.
