YOSHIDA HIROSHI (1876-1950) AND TSUCHIYA KOITSU (1870-1949) Showa era (1926-1989), early to mid-20th century Two oban prints: the first a tate-e by Hiroshi, titled along the left margin Sakura hachidai Sankei-en (Sankei-en Garden, from the series Eight Scenes of Cherry Blossoms), dated Showa 10 (1935), with jizuri seal, signed in ink Yoshida with a seal Hiroshi, and signed in pencil in Roman script Hiroshi Yoshida along the lower right margin, 40.7cm x 27.8cm (16in x 10 15/16in); the second a yoko-e by Koitsu, titled Asa no Fuji Kawaguchiko (Morning Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi) along the right margin, dated Showa 11 (1936), with a Hanken shoyu Doi Hangaten seal with a printer's mark Ito and carver's mark Ikeda along the lower left margin, signed Koitsu with a seal Shin, probably a postwar printing, 28.3cm x 42.2cm (11 1/8in x 16 5/8in).
