Third selection of work by Robert F. SHEEHAN (1922-1969), containing 4 larger images, all matted and with Gammadion Film labels with descriptive information affixed to the backs.
1. Literary title: smelter slugs. 1960. Colorfax process. Â Only one printed. Size: image size: 10 x 13 inches w/ h.
2. Literary title: Closure. Subject: door of a refrigerator car at Hudson docks. 1951. Two Prints issued one using the Printon process, the other Colorfax. label has information on exhibition, ownership, and varying sizes of the two. We believe this is a Colorfax. Size: 10x13 inches (w/h).
3. Literary title: Fuming stacks. Subjects: steelworks are Weirton, W. Virginia. 1957.  Label mention using  a haze filter.  Size: 9.5 x 13“ Three prints were made, one Printon and two Colorfax— owned by MOMA, Kay Steele, and Gammadion.Â
4. literary title: Copper smelters. 1960. One Colorfax print made. Size: 13.5 c 19 (w/h),
Colorfax was the precursor of Cibachrome.
