Large Folio paperback, with pictorial covers, and has 84 pages. Slight marks to the front/back boards and the corners are rubbed.
With Eight stunning battle Photogravures, and tissue guards, coverage of the Second Boer War by popular newspaper The Illustrated London News.
This issue covers the campaign and some of the battles. There are also articles on Women and the War, as well as, Medical Officers. The Illustrated London News was the world's first illustrated weekly newspaper; the first published on May 14, 1842.
It was published weekly until 1971 and then increasingly less frequently until publication ceased in 2003. Wear and tear to wrappers, spine paper replaced, and rear cover missing.
Front wrapper has been quite heavily repaired but still looks good and front endpaper still attached but is weak. Interior pages are in excellent condition.
