Original vintage German motivational workplace poster issued by the Parker-Holladay company in Berlin featuring an illustration of a man in a suit talking on the phone as he drafts blueprints on the desk and a factory worker looking at him with jealousy in the foreground, the quote reading - Arbeit nicht Gluck fuhrte ihn hin. Neid fuhrt zu nichts. Doval / Work not luck led him there. Envy leads to nothing. Parker-Holladay issued this series of posters to promote the correct work ethic in the workplace creating Doval as the equivalent of Bill Jones in the UK. The concept was copyrighted and taken to the USA and Canada motivating personnel to perform efficiently worldwide. Good condition, restored tears, restored paper loss in the bottom right corner. Country of issue: Germany, designer: unknown, size (cm): 72x56, year of printing: 1929.
