Heading into our third century of auctioneering, 1818 Auctioneers is a friendly auction house based at Junction 36 of the M6, which is easy to access from Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Our purpose-built offices and salerooms are part of the J36 Rural Auction Centre and they house a team of valuers and support staff

We hold online, timed auctions every week. Every auction is timed online, bidding and runs for 17 days.

In-person viewing takes place in the salerooms as follows:

Wednesdays, 10 am to 4 pm
Thursdays, 10 am to 4 pm
Fridays, 10 am to 4 pm

You can find our full catalogues online, with new auctions launched every Thursday, and you are welcome to request condition reports for any lots of interest.

The inviting Café Ambio situated just across the corridor can provide brews and a slice of something nice or a quick lunch break.

There’s a large car park, which is free for our customers to use, so loading and unloading are easy. We also have secure storage on-site to keep your items safe before they’re sold.
