A casket with faceted cover, mahogany, full coating with ivory plaques, engraved and gilt copper mounts, interior with ebony fillets, Italian, 16th/17th C., restoration of the corners of some ivory plaques, minor faults and cracks in the ivory, faults in the interior wood, other minor defects. Notes: vd. https://www.kollerauktionen.ch/cn/126207-0117 -----1166-KLEINE-ELFENBEIN-SCHATULLE_ -R-1166_48168.html - VER LOUVRE a) This lot is subject to CITES export/import restrictions and is duly certified: nr 19-PT-LX01713/C; b) Several countries prohibit the import of goods that incorporate materials from protected wild fauna and flora species, including, among others, ivory, coral and turtle; c) In Portugal, according to the forecast transposition into the Portuguese legislation of the more recent EU guidance document concerning ivory commerce, the issuing of reexport certifications for non EU countries is suspended; d) We therefore advise potential buyers to inform themselves in advance on the applicable legislation, in particular the customs regulations in force in the countries concerned., Dim. - 11,5 x 17,5 x 9,5 cm
