A charming documentary knitted purse, 1819, in yellow and green inscribed 'Miss W. Burton, Sackett Hill, 1819', drawstring top, tassel base, 9.5 x 6cms excluding drawstring. †Sir Richard Burton (1773-1855) was commissioned into the 3rd Kings Own Regt. Of Dragoon Guards in 1792 and Kings Body Guard in 1794. He was present at the coronation of George IV and William IV when he held the role of silver stick, he was knighted in 1812. He married Elisabeth Crofts on the 27th April 1802 and purchased Sacketts Hill House, Isle of Thanet, Kent.

A FINE PAIR OF WALNUT CANDLESTICKS MADE FROM WOOD FROM H.M.S. EURYDICE. A pair of candlesticks with broad plated sconces on turned columns, the circular bases each with a label 'Made of the wood of H.M.S. Eurydice'. 22 cm tall. H.M.S. Eurydice was a 26 gun Corvette sank in a heavy snow storm in 1878, off the Isle of Wight. *CR One sconce does not sit entirely flat on the stick, slight surface marking, but generally an attractive pair of candlesticks.
