CHINESE PORCELAIN UNDERGLAZE BLUE DECORATED PLATE OR SHALLOW DISH decorated to the centre with figures in a garden and with Diaper border, having reserve floral panels, scenic designs to the reverse with jade 'bell' mark to the base within a double concentric circle in Kangxi style. 27cm diameter. * CONDITION REPORT: Chips and frits in various places around the rim together with long hair crack.
SMALL CHINESE CARVED JADE, LIDDED, OVOID EWER, the lid with pointed baluster finial and fluted decoration, the body with fluted bands above and below reserved panels of foliate decoration. Circular pedestal base. 14cm high approx. * CONDITION REPORT: Rather grubby in places around neck and grubby residue apparent on the lid, the base has a sticky glue like residue in evidence, possibly suggesting a repair although not obviously apparent.
SPECTACULAR CHINESE CARVED JADE, FLOWER SHAPED VASE carved and pierced with lotus blooms and seed pods and with various birds thereon. 28cm high approx. on well carved hardwood foliate stand. * CONDITION REPORT: A number of small chips and minor frits detected but no significant damage or restoration.
CHINESE MID GREEN CARVED JADE, URN SHAPED, LIDDED VASE overall with grey and black flecks, the cover with relief carved flower head and the vase flanked by bull rushes, carved birds and flower heads on a naturalistic base. 21cm high. CHINESE CARVED PALE GREEN JADE STUDY OF A MANDARIN DUCK LOOKING BACKWARDS, with duckling, and overall decorated with flowers. On good quality carved hardstone base. 18.5cm long. * CONDITION REPORT: No obvious chips, damage or restoration. Duckling does not have hardstone eye. Area on large mandarin ducks foot has imperfection (possible nick at area of webbing) At least two small areas which could be described as chips or large nicks around feet. Duckling foot - at least one small nick.
A LARGE CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE BRUSH WASHER C.1900 Carved as two large curling lotus leaves, with leafy tendrils and seed pods beneath forming the base, a small pale celadon jade two-handled cup, carved with prunus, a celadon jade belthook, and two nail protectors, one in jade, the other silver-mounted tortoiseshell, with two hardwood stands, 19cm max. A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE MODEL OF A BUDDHIST LION DOG, 18TH CENTURY In a recumbent position, with a bushy tail, the ears flattened against its body, the spine protruding from the back, the stone with russet markings, 9.8cm.
