A set of eight George III fruitwood framed square stick back armchairsIncluding a pair of carvers (8)Condition report:Overall, in good condition considering age and use. As to be expected some repairs in areas, notably the re-pegging of the arms to the carvers and some side rails to others. Some corner blocks renewed to support the drop-in seats. Some worm in areas (see extra photograph) to a few chairs. Some wear to feet on some, as to be expected. Otherwise, general scuffs, dents and marks, together with some minor shrinkage between joins, commensurate with age and use. Dirt and dust to seats. Overall, would benefit from a general tidying and reinforcement to some joints.

There is an example in the standard Branch and Squares pattern.

Four pieces of Dresden porcelain to include a letter rack, chamber stick, inkwell and oval dishCondition report: Letter rack- very tiny chip to gilding along the bottom rim and some tiny patches of wear, otherwise good condition. Chamber stick- very good condition Inkwell- one hinged lid of the ink pot is broken off and the brass ring attachment is missing, also some wear to the gilded rim. Other ink pot has some chips to paintwork and the lid doesn’t close flush. The main ink stand has two chips to foot rim and two chips along the top rim. Oval dish- very good condition
