A FINE SMALL CHINESE WHITE JADE SHUANG LIAN BOX AND COVER, 18TH CENTURY With two conjoined ovoid compartments, the cover mirroring this design, carved in shallow relief with a pair of interlocking circular rings, each containing a bat in flight, the stone an even tone with russet mottling to the cover, 5.5cm. A CHINESE CIRCULAR JADE-MOUNTED HAND MIRROR, QING DYNASTY The handle formed from a pale celadon jade belthook with a dragon’s head terminal, flanked by two bats, the mirror backed by a pale celadon reticulated plaque with a central articulated shou character, encircled by coloured stones set into silver-coloured metal decorated in relief with incense burners and vases, 18.8cm overall. Provenance: the Benveniste collection, Montreal. Purchased in the 1960s and ‘70s.
A BURMESE 'IMPERIAL' JADEITE AND GOLD RING, 20TH CENTURY With a cabochon-cut stone set in a plain gold mount, a single punch mark, with a gemmological certificate stating that the stone is imperial jadeite jade and that no evidence of treatment was observed. Provenance: the Princess of Burma, by repute.

# A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE INCENSE BURNER AND COVER, 18TH CENTURY The oval body raised on four short feet, carved in shallow relief with a band of taotie masks amongst C-scrolls, with two loose-ringed handles, the cover with petals radiating from the oval knop, the stone with cream mottling, 13.8cm. A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE BOULDER CARVING, QING DYNASTY Carved in shallow relief as a mountain, one side depicting a scholar and an attendant crossing a bridge under a pine tree, a distant pagoda visible amongst clouds, with an inscription for longevity which reads nan shan zhu shou tu, cheng shang xian shou le diao tian, yuan zhang, the reverse with a deer beneath a tree and an extensive poem by Du Fu, the stone with russet markings, raised on a fitted wood stand, 10cm. A KOREAN MILITARY UNIFORM, 20TH CENTURY The helmet with a tall jade enamelled and horse hair finial and with gilt dragon and phoenix appliqués and a fur-lined cowl, the red fabric tunic embellished with brass, studs and further gilt metal appliqués, together with a pair of felt boots and a black lacquered fitted case.
