Maximum dimensions 143cms x 74cms. Good condition.
Large Masai Hide Shield of Lenticular Form, the edges bound with leather strips to wooden reinforcements, braced on the inside with a carved wooden stick running for the entire length and incorporating a curved handle, secured by hide lashings, outer surface with traces of ochre decoration.
