A Chinese jade carved figure of two fighting tigers on a hardwood stand CONDITION REPORTS To the naked eye appears in good condition throughout though with some areas of dust and dirt in the crevices and interior. Even under a glass cannot see any flaws. Provenance: A local private Vendor aapprox 46 x 34mm
A Chinese carved jade or agate figure of a fish by coral CONDITION REPORTS Some light scratches, some small chips and losses throughout, especially to the tail. General small signs of wear and tear throughout conducive with age and use. Also a small loss to the back. Will attempt to photograph so please see images. Not sure this will come out clearly. 3.7 cm long. Over all colour with darker variation to the centre section. The carved coral or water beneath the fish is very much lighter than the rest with a dark to pale grey appearance to the fish itself. Along the dorsal fin of the fish there appear to be flaws in the stone giving the impression of cracking or damage but believed to be original to the stone. To the left hand side on the opposite side to the right tail end of the fish there is a similar area of flawing
A Chinese carved jade pendant depicting two phoenix, raised on a hardwood stand CONDITION REPORTS To the naked eye appears in good condition throughout, though under a strong glass there are minor flaws/cracks visible in two or three areas, unable to be seen by photograph. These are believed to be original to the stone though in so far as anything is possible they may be later damage - repeat, not really visible to the naked eye. The stand has a large chip to one end - see images for further information. Approx 61mm x 48mm
A Chinese carved jade figure of Caishen on a carved hardwood base CONDITION REPORTS The jade itself has brownish colouration running through it in several places. The protrusion above the man's right ear has a crack and browning to the top of the crack, otherwise there is a small crack looking from the back of the figure to the lower pierced hole - see images. There are small blemishes to the base which may or may not be original to the stone. Stand appears basic but in good condition.

Housed in a carved tiger's eye acorn. Schloss's English Bejois miniature almanac, 1.4 x 2.0cm, 62 pages, the covers with green, red and gold decoration with conforming slipcase and green leather fitted box (broken), 3.5 x 4.5cm and containing a miniature tortoiseshell magnifying glass. A pair of carved jade-mounted gold earrings. A ring mounted with three green paste stones and various items of jewellery, costume jewellery, etc.
A group of Chinese hardstones, 19th/20th Century, including a green and russet jade pendant of a chilong holding a coin, 4cm, a carved agate seal modelled as a lion standing on a cuboid base, 4cm, a creamy white stone seal modelled as a lion standing on a tall square-section base, 6cm, a small agate figure of a rat, 3cm and a grey and white mineral snuff bottle, carved with a bat and chilong, 5.5cm. A Chinese jade, hardstone and enamelled silver magnifying glass, Qing Dynasty, the handle mounted with a pale green and russet jade belt hook carved as a dragon facing a sinuous chilong, the silver rim inset with mixed hardstone 'jewels' and enamelled with trailing flowers and foliage, conforming decoration to the back, 20cm.

A Chinese jade, hardstone and mixed metal hand mirror, Qing Dynasty, the handle mounted with a pale greenish-white belt hook carved with a dragon hook facing a reticulated and undercut sinuous chilong grasping a lingzhi stem in its mouth, the yellow metal mirror back mounted with a pendant of similar hue, carved with a phoenix bird amid lotus flowers and foliage, the metal mount of ovoid form with mixed hardstone 'jewels' and chased with precious objects and bats, the mirror front silvered, 22cm.
