CHINESE GILT BRASS SQUARE LANTERNwith a domed lift up pierced lid decorated with lotus flowers and dragon head terminals with suspended bells to the corners, the sides set with reticulated panels of white jade with a shou character below a bat in flight, the diaper ground with ruyi panels and lotus scrolls, standing on four pairs of decorative bracket feet, now converted for electricity, 24cm high

A 19th century Chinese porcelain Snuff Bottle of hexagonal form (broken neck and re-glued) together with one other Chinese circular example decorated with three standing figures, both Snuff Bottles have green Jade stoppers, the tallest 8.5cm, (2) CONDITION REPORT: The hexagonal Snuff Bottle has a black ring around the neck but this appears to rub off under light scraping, the rest of the Snuff Bottle looks in good honest genuine original condition. The round Snuff Bottle has some brown markings to the bottle which again appear to disappear after a light rubbing. The foot appears OK and the rest of the Bottle appears OK also.

A 19th century Chinese porcelain Snuff Bottle decorated in relief with blossoms against a mid-blue ground, four-character mark to underside, cabouchon green Jade stopper, 8cm CONDITION REPORT: The stand looks in good order, the green celadon jade cabouchon stopper has what looks like a natural striation running though it (see image), the body of the main snuff bottle has some light pitting on the turquoise blue ground, the lip of the top of the bottle although dirty and some discolouration looks in good order with no reference to chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration noted. The foot rim has notable kiln dirt and also four character mark (see images).
Lot 329
A Chinese carved Celadon Jade of a recumbent Beast, the two front legs pierced with a hole for suspension, the Celadon coloured stone with russet striations and darker inclusions to the left hand side, in carved Chinese hardwood stand (possibly late Ming, 17th century), the stone 6cm CONDITION REPORT: The hardstone has a small 1mm chip to the monkey's left foot and minor surface abrasions, stand dated 8.11.1979 (see image).

A large 19th century Chinese porcelain Snuff Bottle hand-decorated with cobalt blue and browns depicting a large building with open wooden gates, paper label to side and six-character mark to underside, cabouchon-shaped Celadon Jade stopper, 8.75cm CONDITION REPORT: Small glaze loss to neck rim, no cracks or chips detected, minor glaze losses to shoulder rim of bottle (see images).
