STICK BACK GIG built by Gold & Sons of Windsor, circa 1905. A finely crafted black-painted gig with patent leather dash and flared mudguards. Black paintwork with gold lining, built by the renowned Gold & Sons. Features elegant beige buttoned upholstery and brass hubcaps. In show condition, having been successfully placed at county shows. Measures 26.6 inches between shafts at tug stops, with wheels standing at 4 feet 3 inches high. Includes carriage cover and blocks to secure wheels when not in use.

A DAGGER (STILETTO) IN A STICK | EUROPE / SPAIN (TOLEDO), EUROPEAN | Country: Europe / Spain (Toledo) | Date: around 1900 | Marking: TOLEDO (blade) | Condition: Excellent | Lot information | A dagger (stiletto) hidden in a stick, made around 1900. The blade is narrow, solid and ends with a sharp point, suitable for stabbing techniques. The surface of the blade bears the etched mark "Toledo", which proves its origin from an important Spanish center for the production of cold weapons. The handle is made of light horn and is complemented by a ring decorated with silver. The sheath of the stick is made of dark stained wood. . This type of stick was used mainly as a personal defense weapon of the upper social strata in terms of style and function.
